Who do we help?
We work with rural communities who are working with and through the local churches and their leaders, empowering them to serve the community more effectively. We focus on districts limited on access to safe water and hygiene, opportunities for economic growth, and youth engagement.
These are communities whose demographics show at least 50% of the population lacks access to clean water within our definition of access. We define access in terms of time, distance, quality and quantity. Our target community has the following characteristics:

Need: At least 40% of the population lacks access to safe water, adequate sanitation, and hygiene services.

Geographical population: A defined administrative/political boundary with a target population between 35,000 to 100,000 individuals.

Demand: The leaders are aware of the need and are prioritizing it in their development plan.
